Understanding Betfred odds

Betfred displays decimal odds by default, showing the total return per unit staked. A price of 2.50 means a £10 bet returns £25 (£15 profit + £10 stake). You can switch between decimal, fractional and American odds in your account settings.

1/X/2 — reading the match lines

The three main match betting markets are 1 (home win), X (draw) and 2 (away win). Betfred clearly labels each option with its corresponding decimal price. The favourite (shortest odds) typically has the lowest decimal value.

Premier League odds

Betfred covers all 380 Premier League matches each season with pre-match and in-play lines. Outrights for title, top-four and relegation are available throughout the season.

Champions League odds

Group stage, knockout rounds and the final are all covered with 1/X/2, both teams to score, handicap and total goals markets. Live prices update throughout the 90 minutes.

Live / in-play odds

Once a match kicks off, Betfred refreshes prices continuously. Cash-out may be offered on accumulator and single bets — check your bet slip for the current cash-out value.
